Sun Spring Mandala

I tried creating one of these a year or so ago and ended up frogging the entire thing.  Following the pattern exactly, and this is why I think the patterns are free, ended up with a project way, WAY too big.  Like it was dragging on the ground and I still had many rounds to go on it.

I am doing it again with some changes.  Lion Brand Mandala yarn, 3.75 hook.  No extra V stitch rows, no extra sleeve DC rows.  Variation on the inner order because I hate doing those shell stitches.  And, I may put actual sleeves on it.

Ginger Spice Blanket

I finally used up all the Ginger Spice Caron Tea Cakes yarn.  The outside temp being -20 with a windchill feel is -50 helped.

Few works in process

I was in the middle of two things, the Rose alpaca and another one of the virus sweaters, so I recently posted both.

In my shop now! Hurry, one sold already!

Princess Rose Alpaca

I decided to make one last alpaca for a while, using a pretty yarn called “Rose Garden” I bought a while ago.

I personally prefer the more neutral colored ones which make the decorations stand out more, but I very much like how this one came out.  It sorta reminds me of a Chia Pet, actually!

Blue Steel Alpaca

Although making these in bright colors is cool, I think picking natural colors really makes the decorations stand out nicely!
