Not Buying Yarn
So! I’m not buying yarn for a bit so that’s making me more creative with what I got. I decided to make a pink on pink Sweet Sleepy Sheepy with what I had in stash. I have enough where I could make probably 2 more.
Always Improving
I mentioned before I like to try to improve patterns that I’d done, if necessary, and I’m trying that again. For my sheep pattern I am now making the ear look better by making an inner layer that I sew into the outer ear, like so
The outer ear is white, and the inner is peach like the face and feet. I did not do this on the black and white sheep because I was trying to match what an actual Suffolk sheep looked like and their ears are not fuzzy. Of course, from the pictures I’ve seen they also don’t have the fleece over their head either, but hey it’s a style choice!
I am also almost done with a pink on pink version I am really liking.
Sheepy Shelf
My sister suggested I put all the sheep style toys together in one place. Well we had just updated my youngest sons room and donated a bunch of books, so I had a spare bookcase I decided to line them up on. I liked it so much I moved it into my office and they will stay there, until they sell anyway!

Amy
I am so obsessed with making these right now, I am going to fill out my shelf before I get tired of it again I think! I really wish I could get a child to model one of them though, even though I take picture of them on a couch, next to pillows, and on a chair, I think it’s hard to gauge the size but I am fresh out of kids around the age of 5 unfortunately. Mine are 12 and 16!
